Role Overview:
The ideal candidate should have experience with new furnace installation including HRV systems, unit heaters & tube heaters, A/C, fan venting in new residential homes from starter homes to the larger custom-built residences. We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson who can independently carry out the following tasks in residential new home construction.
Responsibilities:
- New installs from rough in to finishing (A/C, furnace, HRVs, humidifiers etc)
- Furnace change out and retro-fits
- Finishing (Registers & Grilles)
- A/C rough in’s & installs
- HRV complete installs
- Garage unit heater & tube heater installs
- Fans & ventilation
- Reading & following blueprints
- Service & troubleshooting
- Basic A/C maintenance and repair
Qualifications:
- Sheet Metal Journeyperson certificate
- Residential HVAC installation experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in the HVAC industry
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and positive driver’s abstract
- Ability to problem solve and diagnose
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to learn quickly and work diligently
