Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate and install ductwork
- Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery such as air handling units, fans, ventilation equipment, etc
- Work with a team or independently
- Read and interpret plans/drawings
- Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
- Understand the importance of customer service
- Communicate with administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Sheet Metal certificate preferred
- Apprenticeship Sheet Metal enrollment
- Minimum 1 year experience in the sheet metal industry
- Valid driver's license
- Clean abstract safety certifications are an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc)
